“We needed a team that was going to look at every little piece of this building and find a structure that fit exactly to the dimensions, to the functionality that we needed for a transfer station. We looked to Western Steel to really help us with that design.
“We were concerned about these costs going up because of big clear span spaces, or having to shrink the building because the costs were increasing. And in the end, we added 10,000 square feet to the building in the last two months of design. And Western Steel looked at us and said, excellent, we can add that in. We’re still going to keep you on schedule. We’re going to keep you on budget. Western Steel was great.

When R.C. Ornamental and R.C.’s Metal Restorations outgrew their small shop spaces, they turned to Western Steel Buildings for a more functional facility that could expand production. Western Steel provided engineering, architectural design, and collaboration throughout the build process, completing the project in about a year and a half. The result: a larger, customized building that gave their business room to grow.
“Before we rented a shop over by Airport Road, we had 1,000 square foot building and a 2,000 square foot building that we worked out of and it was just way too small. Western Steel, we asked them to make us a more functional building that we could produce more product. So we worked with Western Steel on this part of it, and they did the engineering and they did the architectural look of it. And they worked with our team to get it done in about a year and a half.
I think that Western Steel was a very good company to work with because they were very responsive, they were very complete on their product, and it was just great working with them. I would say that if I was going to do another building, Western Steel would be my first person that I would go to.”

The process was very simple, they gave me great ideas, too, so we did make some modifications on from my first design.
