I did fairly exhaustive research on what construction company to work with in beginning our project and bottom line I got lucky to find Western Steel and specifically Ben Meister.Thinking that it would be best to deal directly with a manufacturer is one of the first mistakes I would have made. Ben advised me early on that WS build a plethora of buildings and therefore have access to problem solvers at the manufacturing plants. As a stand alone buyer we would have little to no access to these same expediters of issues which are bound to occur.I enthusiastically can recommend Western Steel in large part by how they have handled the nuances of the supply chain. At every opportunity they have done the right thing by our company and we will be life long customers of Western Steel.

I have worked with and done projects for western steel for over 6 years now. Aaron, Ben, Wes, Marcos, Stuart and Katie are great to work with and haven’t ever had any issues with missing material or delayed arrival of materials. As an erecting contractor I haven’t every had design or fabrication issues while installing roughly 50 of the buildings provided by Western Steel buildings.

The team made sure we had a workable design that served our site specific needs and kept us informed on lead times all the way through production to delivery. Western Steel Buildings, and their team, especially Mark Blume and Wes Jones have time and again shown their industry knowledge though our interactions. As an Insulated Metal Panel (IMP) specialist installer, we have worked very closely with Mark and Wes on a number of projects which have always been handled professionally and thoughtfully as anyone might expect from a top tier company like Western.However, I’m writing this review today because of the above and beyond actions their team has shown our company and this industry. We recently purchased a new home in AZ and planned to also relocate our business as well. Initially I reached out to Western Steel Buildings after finding them on a Google search. Mark Blume responded immediately with a lot of great information.Upon further inquiring, with Mark, i found him to not only be super responsive but also a wealth of information and help! In fact the original job I inquired about completely changed and we actually ended up buying a home with an already existing huge steel building build out in the back of the new 3.2 acre property.Even when asking Mark about the preexisting structures which he actually confirmed were not built by them, he was still willing to give me some advice and recommendations on how to approach my project, even if it was with a different manufacturer.Bottom line, Mark is all about communication and customer service. His responses are super fast and full of content, not just a simple yes or no. I truly wish I could have done business with Mark and Western this time around but will definitely consult with them on future projects.Just felt it was important to acknowledge great customer service provided by Mark and Western!

Back in January we purchased a 40X50X20 ft. building from Western Steel. They were very helpful and patient as I changed my mind several times during the design phase. Western Steel Buildings is very good to work with. I'm very happy with the building. I did some parts of the construction myself and subcontracted some parts. They were helpful in that process. Everything was there in the first shipment, which turns out to be important when your subcontractor is on site with a crew and ready to go.

Trying to find the right building to order is hard, until you talk to the wonderful people at this company!!! They made everything so easy to understand and communicated so well and if for any reason we had a question all we had to do was call!! They take pride in knowing who their customers are and what they are wanting that when we got are building it was so easy and enjoyable knowing we were getting what we needed! The Salt Lake Astronomical Society purchased a steel building from Western Steel Buildings. It is 45'X25'X10'high sitting on top of 8-foot high concrete walls. The building houses the largest amateur telescope in the world and the choice of building was perfect for our needs.Western Steel Buildings was very good to work with and the building was very cost effective. I am very pleased with the quality of the building, its looks and how easy they made the purchase and construction phase. They lined up the contractor to erect the building and that company did an excellent job.I won't hesitate to once again purchase from Western Steel Building when we have additional needs

Western Steel has proven to be a premier Steel Building supplier. From start to finish they were involved in the design, Fabrication, delivery and construction of the building to insure that all expectations were met and on time. We purchased a 80 x 60 foot steel building from Western Steel this year. Our building arrived on time as promised, came with all the parts promised, and we had absolutely no issues! Ben was great to work with. He was in constant communication with us through the whole process. Our building is beautiful!! Also, it had barely been up a week when we got 80 mile an hour winds and we had no issues. We would definitely purchase from them again!
